What’s New in 2025… and the Return of the Favorites
I'll be honest—I've been planning for Fall 2025 since January. It might sound early, but it’s my busiest season, and over the past three years, I’ve learned a lot about what works beautifully and what doesn’t.
Going into this season, two key questions have been on my mind:
Where did I consistently capture stunning images that people truly loved?
And how can I make the entire experience even better for families this year?
Here’s what I’ve come up with...
Some locations simply delivered—again and again. They offered variety, incredible backdrops, and that perfect balance of fall color and golden light.
These are my absolute favorites, and they’ll be the mini locations available for 2025. Please book early if you want a spot. Last year I shot almost 100 sessions from September to December. I'm offering Saturday and Sunday availability this year for minis. Here are your options:
Lake Windwing (Ridgefield)
Why I love it: The lake, the giant trees, the winding paths, the tall grasses—it’s a dream. If your family can move at a good pace, we can capture a wide variety of images in a short amount of time. Lake Windwing is consistently my most requested location, and it sells out year after year.
Waveny Park (New Canaan)
Why I love it: Waveny gives us two gorgeous looks in one location. First, the golden fields at sunset are pure magic—romantic, glowing, and breathtaking. Second, the stone estate adds a regal, almost castle-like feel to your photos.
Side note: This is a top pick for full one-hour sessions because it also includes a blooming English garden and a trellis. If you want more variety than a mini session allows, this is a perfect choice. Reach out to schedule your full session.
Sherwood Island (Westport)
Why I love it: This Long Island Sound beach is my go-to spot year-round—from January to December. The light on the water is just beautiful. A heads-up, though: it can be quite bright. If you or your kids have sensitive eyes, it might not be the best fit. But if you're okay near sunset, the results are breathtaking—some shots look straight out of the Caribbean. This location is also amazing for full sessions if you want more time and images. An hour goes quickly at this location. If you choose this spot, I will capture you with the big skies.
Ridgefield Meadow
Why I love it: Big skies, bold colors, and so much space to play. This stunning meadow has everything you could want for a family session: plenty of room for running kids, walking shots, and snuggly moments in the grass. It’s a hidden gem right in Ridgefield. In fact, I'm not telling you the location until you've booked it! TOP SECRET.
Biney Park (Greenwich)
Why I love it: This location feels like stepping into another era. Stone bridges, a quiet pond, and vibrant fall colors make it truly special. The tree-lined paths are some of my favorite spots for framing a family beautifully. I’ll only be here one evening, so if this is your dream backdrop—don’t wait to book it!
