Fall Family Photos
I am so excited to announce my mini sessions for 2023 for Fairfield County!
I have a variety of locations and sessions available with al little something for everyone.
Children, families, seniors, engagement and maternity can all take advantage of this special pricing.
The locations I selected this year are:
- Tarrywile Park in Danbury
- Why I love it: It's a 3 in 1. One easy to get to location with 3 choices of backgrounds. First there are gorgeous rolling hills and meadows. In the earlier months, it's a gorgeous green nature backdrop, but by autumn, it will be perfect fall foliage and colors for the most beautiful photoshoot! The second backdrop is a white stone wall with climbing ivy. In the early summer months, pretty flowers climb the vines. But by fall it'll be a welcome plainer background in comparison to the fall foliage of the rolling hills. It's romantic and beautiful. The third backdrop is a big red barn. Perfect for a fall family photo.
- Ambler Farm in Wilton
- Why I love it: This working farm in Wilton is a perfect spot to spend some extra time before or after our photoshoot. This easy location also has so much to offer. A gorgeous wooden chair for family or couples photos, a classic wood fence with a huge sky behind it for a standing family photo, and a lovely garden with flowers of all colors for a beautiful background. Families, children and couples will all love this location. The real showstopper is the grand red barn with detailed white paneling. Any photo taken here is fun and fresh to look at!
- Lake Windwing in Ridgefield
- Why I love it: Lake Windwing is another easy spot. You can drive right up to the lake and the pier is easily accessible for a lovely fall foliage backdrop. The other option at Lake Windwing is the long grass meadows. There are several trails and just walking down any of them, holding hands is the perfect family photo. Kids can run and play and this makes the perfect candid.
- Waveny Park in New Canaan
- Why I love it: If you want Christmas or holiday photos, this is your place. I added extra time to these sessions because this estate is so large. You'll want to take photographs in a variety of locations and honestly, this location is definitely geared towards grand, fancy and dressy photos. Wear your fancy clothes and you'll fit right in here. There's a countryside garden with climbing roses, ivy and flowers everywhere. There's stone patios and walkways, a large fountain and rock walls. This estate is not to be missed. I can easily picture a family in their Christmas outfits, or long warm dressy coats taking fancy pictures on this grand estate.
- Sherwood Island in Westport
- Why I love it: Beach photos are the best and the Long Island Sound does not disappoint. With the cool blue ocean waters, the golden skies and the tan sandy beach, this location is a great option for fall photos that aren't necessarily too "autumn." The backdrop is cooler for a crisper photo and the beach is always a great place for family fun to be documented. I love having the kids run and play, splash the water, spin in the sand. It's a beautiful spot for seniors and maternity as well.
